Ree's Challenge

Ree, Here it is although I am not a happy lassie with this one. I was trying for yellow, red and blue all just one small shift clockwise on the colour wheel. I set it up in a light box as instructed outside on a table, then sat on a very low stool in order not to block the sunlight, and then had to paint very quickly before the light shifted too much. Hence, no times for cups of tea between drying of layers and it all became rather"wet and wild".

  2. Colleen good for you for giving it a go.

Why did you not use a table lamp for your light source, that way you wouldn't have had to rush it..

I was going to use my bunch of black grapes for mine too, but when I got them out of the fridge, I realised they were more than dead. oops.. :D

  3. Awwww... Colleen, you could have taken a photo of you sill life setup rather than sitting there chasing the sun, sweetie... gees, the challenge was hard enough! ;)

You did quiet well, actually...I like the grapes and the wine glass...the cloth behind the glass is a bit too light on my monitor to see clear enough but I'm sure it looks great in person. Well done, Colleen! ;)

  5. Thank you everyone. As far as light is concerned,I have a fondness for sunlight so I will keep chasing the sun as much as I can.
