Well maybe it's nor a coolabah tree ......but I am sure you Australians will soon let me know if it isn't ......

White Heron

I had an absolute ball painting this guy. I love the photo, the lights were magical, David is a great photographer!
I painted this on single thickness gallery canvas 12" x 16" in acrylics.

It's Sunday evening. Time to post. I have used the photo to practise watercolour wet-in-wet technique, something that really interests me.
