This looks like a snow-clad shoreline, although I might have thrown in some pastel colours to widen your range of colour and temperatures. Abstracts really depend on the seven contrasts for definition when there is no discenrable object on the panel.
This is delightful in it's freedom, what a terrific entry Anne. Give it a try on a regular basis to help you stay creative. Tackling the impossible helps us do the mundane.
My absttract: I took a macro shot of a flower in my garden, opened it in Paint Shop Pro Photo X1, cropped a small part of it, changed the colour and painted it ......
