Tuesdays and Wednesdays paintings

Both acrylics, both 12"x16"

I took the photo a few years ago. There were two dinghy's on the Wynnum waterfront, a blue one, and a yellow one. I have painted them many times in watercolour, now I am doing some in acrylics for the market. This is a fun scene to paint.

  1. AWWW! WOW! JJ, these are really great, love the light on the boat in #1 and the reflected light in #2. The pelican looks like he's waiting for his dinner!! I sure these will sell quickly JJ! ;) Well done on both JJ! ;))

  2. JJ .....they are both beautiful...... What size is a pelican? To me the pelican looks very big or else the boat looks very small .....

  3. Thank you ladies. Anne our pelicans are rather big, and it is only a dinghy, but I know what you mean. I wondered about that too..

I will try and get a better picture today, the colour isn't right in that one.

  6. These were hard to photograph as well, but a couple at the markets seemed to think they were great, as they bought both of them!!!!! One for his father, and one for themselves. They kept the pelican one for themselves.. They are coming back next week to see what other boat paintings I bring in..
