ReplyDeleteThank you Anne!! I have varnishsed this one, with a satin varnish. I wasn't going to, but it is an artist grade varnish and it look quite good. I do prefer matt though, so I am going to go to the artshed tomorrow and buy a couple of spray cans of matt varnish. This should help to protect them more in transit to adn fro the Market.
ReplyDeleteI prefer the gloss varnish as I think it makes a painting look more like oils ......
ReplyDeleteI don't like how the light is reflected off gloss. It is a s bad as glass. If a house has a lot of windows, the painting would be difficult o see, I think. :D
