Here we have a group of friends, painting one picture a day, encouraging, and challenging each other, and having fun!

I am recently back from Tasmania which I really enjoyed. Although I didn't meet any of the blog challenges, I did do some holiday watercolours. Here is one of Binalong Bay, a favourite spot of mine. I have included a reference photo so you can see what I was looking at.
That is a wonderful reference picture. I love all that delicious burnt sienna on the rocks.
I do like the colours in your painting, but I would have left out the black. I would have substituted it for a nice purple to compliment the burnt sienna.. :)
So please tell us all about your holiday, what did you see and do, what was your most memorable part of the trip?
Welcome back Colleen, glad you had a great time in Tassie. I would love to visit there one day! Love rock paintings...like the palette you chose, a great ref pic too! Can I steal it?? ;)
Beautiful, I love the colours in this, but why did you leave out the second rock on the top? It would look great like the pic.
ReplyDeleteI am so jealous of your trip. I will never get there, so please delight us with your paintings of such an exotic place.
OOps, my bad, I didn't look close enough. forget my crit.
