The background is a lot darker than this, is is a luscious rich deep blue. I am not having much luck getting a decent photo. Sorry, must be the pthathlo blue.

This is really lovely. Since the light is on the far side of the bottle, the grapes near the bottle should be darker, because they're shaded. Also a little more dark inside the bunch at least.

ReplyDeleteBruce the background, is a rich luscious velvet looking colour. You will just have to take my word for it. Just paint 4 layers of pthalo Blue on your canvas and you have the background.
