This is what I do when i go out without my supplies. :)JJhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16887267456749263715noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6226875186908097599.post-1270596590299876252009-07-06T00:48:16.318+10:002009-07-06T00:48:16.318+10:00Thanks, Ree. :) I do not have a paper stump, but I...Thanks, Ree. :) I do not have a paper stump, but I do have a kneadable eraser. I haven't tried blending yet, as I'm still trying to get the basics down. All I've ever really done is tracing, and I'm trying to get away from that and learn shading as well. I'll definately look into the stump, though. Thanks for the idea. :D

Thanks so much, Anne. :DCharityhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16627401406510287987noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6226875186908097599.post-36779062693871245122009-07-05T19:56:04.889+10:002009-07-05T19:56:04.889+10:00Great drawing Charity!Great drawing Charity!Annehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00493518674133085652noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6226875186908097599.post-21910972218675213282009-07-05T14:49:55.555+10:002009-07-05T14:49:55.555+10:00You draw very well, Charity

They come in different sizes from small to large...a kneadable eraser is also a handy tool as well. These items are cheap to buy at your art supply store or online.Reehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07304330794822181767noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6226875186908097599.post-7078596421544588722009-07-05T10:16:42.048+10:002009-07-05T10:16:42.048+10:00That's a great idea. I sharpen my lead to a point on my grade sand paper. This gives me a nice fine point. Those .05 mechanical pencils are good too, for very fine lines.

It is 5.30am Sunday here, I am out the door. later.. :)JJhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16887267456749263715noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6226875186908097599.post-58255487068429413992009-07-05T05:24:38.619+10:002009-07-05T05:24:38.619+10:00JJ, thanks. :) It was such a pain to draw. lol Th...JJ, thanks. :) It was such a pain to draw. lol The shadow was so small once I put it on my desk that my pencil wouldn't go any thinner. I'll work on different tones next time though. Darkest next to the object, lighter as they move out.

Now I knew this in painting, but for some reason in drawing I was making the shadow all the same shade.. The guys in the D&S Forum pointed it out to me, so I am very aware of it now.. :)JJhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16887267456749263715noreply@blogger.com
